Monique Goette is not only a Health & Life Insurance Broker but also a serial entrepreneur. She started her career off in telecom sales and moved into banking and real estate after her first company closed its doors.

Finding her place in the world, during the real estate boom, it brought her to a mortgage company – working day and night while also working on her degrees. After the mortgage crisis affected her position, she took matters into her own hands creating a medical transcription company and working with individuals to help them obtain financial freedom through education.

At the age of 23, Monique grew interest in her health and lack of nutrition. After a few years of studies and work experience, she became a Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef, as well as Nutritionist, obtaining degrees in Culinary Arts and Nutrition Communication.

Monique’s interest in health continued to evolve, as she obtained a position as a Nutrition Concierge for a local hospital, menu-planning for patients based on their diet restrictions. Essentially, she was healing through food, which was incredibly fulfilling work.

During these same years, social media was growing in popularity. Through basic use in its infancy, Monique became social media savvy. She had a chef food blog for several years, providing cooking tips, recipes, restaurant and food product reviews. Carving her place in the food world through social media, her marketing/media company was born. It was a full-service marketing agency, as well as business and marketing consulting company.

It wasn’t until Monique’s health took a turn for the worst that she experienced the broken healthcare system and how it affected not only the quality of her care but how it also affected her financially. Through her search for “a better way,” she found Healthcare Solutions Team – a company that provided plans that actually help people. It was here that Monique discovered the promising career path that led her to where she is today – full circle. Through her sales, business, marketing, health care, culinary, and nutrition experiences, she is able to work with individuals and groups providing them with not only a hard-working financial services professional but a personal advocate.
